Sarah and Lee met under the Garden Rotunda to become the new Mr and Mrs Jeffries in the summer sunshine in a glorious outside wedding ceremony.
After walking back down the aisle in front of their friends and family they were greeted with a perfect summer favourite – glasses of Pimms ????. All of Sarah and Lee’s nearest and dearest enjoyed the refreshing drinks as they congratulated our happy couple in the sunshine before enjoying a delicious selection of canapés.
Dusky pink and ivory tones filled Coronation Barn from cute homemade jam jars on each table bursting with roses and gypsophila to luxurious KWF chair sashes to complete Sarah and Lee’s romantic feel beautifully. Sassa’s Cakes provided a work of art in the form of a four tiered ‘naked’ cake which was admired by all and complimented the look to a tee.
Guests were in for a real treat as they found their seats eagerly anticipating the wedding breakfast and we were delighted to hear that our new dish of butter roasted supreme of chicken with a wild mushroom and potato gratin on baby leeks was a real hit!
Once the day’s formalities had come to a close, and with a gorgeous summer’s evening ahead of them, guests spilled out onto the terrace whilst the lovely James Rouse stole our Bride and Groom away for some couple time ahead of evening guest arrival. Both our bouncy castle and giant inflatable obstacle course were in action and kept guests very entertained!
With the goodies on our champagne board behind the bar in demand, we soon loaded the terrace cooler full of beers and soft drinks whilst our wine barrels were topped with wines and prosecco for all to kick back, relax and enjoy our infamous Southwood sunset.
The cake was soon cut and first dance sung by Bill Downs before Lee’s Best Man declared the shot tower officially open! A mixture of clear and raspberry pink Sambuca shots were stacked on our four tier tower for all to celebrate Sarah and Lee’s marriage in style and to really get the party started!
Congratulations to a very special couple, we wish you all the happiness in the world for your new lives together x
