We had the privilege of hosting Hollie and Euan’s big day and we just couldn’t wait to get started! Euan headed over to the barn with his Best Man, Rocco, and his Groomsmen who helped ensure that all of the final details were in place ahead of the ceremony. All of the boys looked extremely dapper, we must say!
Guests were greeted on the front steps with a glass of fizz, Pimms, raspberry lemonade or a Corona before making their way out into the gardens for the ceremony. Everyone admired the gorgeous décor from KWF – foliage and floral garlands around the Rotunda, beautiful pedestals lining the aisle, a long and low floral arrangement, handwritten signage and the cute confetti cones that everyone was treated to!
After 2 years of detailed planning, it was finally time for Hollie to marry her best friend and as her infectious grin beamed across her face, we knew she couldn’t wait! Hollie’s beautiful bridesmaids led the way down the aisle in stunning pink or grey floor length gowns before it was time for Ian to give his little girl away. Hollie elegantly made her way down the aisle in her stunning satin gown and the look on Euan’s face told us that he knows he’s hit the jack pot!
After an emotional ceremony, guests lined the aisle for that perfect confetti tunnel before heading over to our terrace cooler for a cold beer or soft drink or to our “Pimp your Prosecco” station to customise their drink! With the sunshine beaming down, and not a cloud in the sky, all of the options went down a treat!
As the ever talented Ross Harvey whisked the new Mr and Mrs Craigie (!) off for some romantic photographs in the gardens, guests enjoyed a tasty selection of Chef’s canapes whilst soaking up the rays!
With Euan living over in Dubai at the moment, Hollie and her Mum have been meticulously planning all of the details for months – from stationary to musicians to seating plans. They may have had a few sleepless nights but it was certainly worth it as everything came together seamlessly and the barn looked stunning!
Tables were decorated with KWF’s extravagant floral centrepieces, gorgeous matching menu cards, place cards and table numbers as well as cute chocolate box favours. The cake was a stunning 5 tier masterpiece from Vanilla Patisserie and giant confetti balloons were dotted around the barn to match the colour scheme too. Hollie really had thought of everything!
As guests were rounded up into the barn, a delicious three course meal was enjoyed along with a cup of coffee and of course a glass of Prosecco for the toast!
Ian was first up to the mic and shared some beautiful memories of Hollie growing up and welcomed Euan into their family (although we’re pretty sure he’s been very welcome there for quite some time – even if he doesn’t play golf ????). Euan thanked all of the bridal party for all of their help in the build up to the wedding – the girls for taking Hollie away on her hen do and the boys for planning his stag in Vegas! Rocco saved the best until last and showed everyone some rather embarrassing photos and videos of Euan before wishing our newlyweds the best of luck in their new life together!
Guests spilled out on to the terrace and enjoyed watching tricks by the magician and getting dolled up with glitter at the Love Moi glitter bar, ready for a night of partying! The barbecue lodge boasted an abundance of evening catering options last night and guests helped themselves to our DIY burger bar and potato station along with the Ultimate Sweet Fix. Sweeties, S’mores, doughnuts, popcorn and candy floss – the perfect snack for those with a sweet tooth! There was even a DIY sundae station, perfect for such a warm summer’s evening ????.
It didn’t take long for guests to pile back into the barn and hit the dance floor to celebrate with our newlyweds. Lee Vann kicked off the evening with an awesome set and our house DJ followed with some ultimate party classics!
We have honestly had such a blast with you guys, from start to finish. Hollie and Euan, you both have such kind, bubbly personalities and it’s so clear to see that you two are just made for each other! It was an honour and a privilege to host your wedding day and meet all of your friends and family too.
We wish you both a lifetime of happiness together ???? x x
