Victoria and Julian

After their church ceremony in the small village of Neatishead we welcomed the new Mr & Mrs Smith in their vintage car to Southwood Hall along with a couple of their close friends and family who also arrived in a range of swish vehicles including a flash white limousine courtesy of Silverline Limousines.
The Champagne was flowing from start to finish with pink Moet upon arrival and throughout the meal and guests being intrigued by our ‘Champagne board’ during the evening with a sale or two of Lanson.
There may have only been a handful of guests in the barn but it definitely still had the wow factor! A long banqueting table was set up with a stunning KWF Cadbury purple table runner with plenty of sparkles and twinkling tea lights. An ear of wheat was placed upon each guests napkin as a little favour from the couple with a beautifully handwritten message tag.
After taking their seats for dining and charging their glasses it was time for a few words from some very proud parents and a very loved up Groom. After a few short stories, a joke or two and some thanks it was time for the meal to commence.
The intimate wedding breakfast gave the couple the opportunity to share their first meal together as man and wife with those closest to them and boy didn’t they pick a good meal! They enjoyed a mouth-watering three course meal including Cromer crab cakes and a very spectacular looking Pavlova which was oozing with cream and berries. Yum yum :)
The lovely Bob Thompson was our photographer for the day and as ever he wowed the Bride & Groom with some chosen photos from the morning’s formalities for the evening guests to see.
We were in for a treat in the evening with guests receiving a refreshing welcome drink on the front steps and if the gorgeous tones of Dale Bullimore weren’t enough to entice them into the barn we also had some amazing cake pops on the tables lovingly made by Mother of the Bride, Sally.
It was a beautiful first dance from Victoria and Julian which was sung live by the incredibly talented Helen Ashton who along with Dale and our house DJ kept everyone on the dancefloor until late.
With all their friends and family around Mr and Mrs Smith did their second cake cutting of the day for their evening guests to experience. And why wouldn’t you with such a fabulous looking cake made by the fair hands of Victoria’s mum!
With drinks flowing it was time for the evening barbeque to be served and what better way to enjoy than on the lawns watching the setting sun – magical!!
It has been such a pleasure to be a part of such a special day and we would like to wish Victoria and Julian all the best for the future as Mr & Mrs Smith! x
