The new Mr & Mrs Leeder!!
Posted on 06 October 2018
Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting Kate and Rhys’ big day in Coronation Barn. The weather may not have been on our side, but nothing was going to dampen the spirits of our wonderful Bride and Groom.
As Kate made her final preparations over in the Cartshed Lodge, Rhys and his dapper Groomsmen arrived in style and helped everyone find their way to their seats for the ceremony.
The ceremony area had been beautifully decorated with KWF’s pink ruffle chair hoods, stunning floor standing rose gold candelabras with floral wreaths and a beautiful long and low design on the ceremony table.
As the live saxophonist began to play, the cute flower girls and page boys led the way down the aisle followed by the gorgeous Bridesmaids in their sparkly rose gold gowns. Our very proud father of the bride couldn’t wait to walk his little girl down the aisle and with a quick “let’s do this!” it was finally time! Kate looked absolutely stunning in her glitzy fitted gown with a beautiful beaded back, Rhys’ reaction of “WOW!” pretty much summed up what everyone was thinking!
With the new Mr and Mrs Leeder officially announced (cue all the cheers!), guests mingled in the barn, enjoying a bottled drink of their choice and Chef’s offering of canapes. The Saxophonist continued to entertain everyone with a live set from the stage as they chatted amongst friends and some took the opportunity for a selfie or two ??.
Lloyd soon announced the cutting of the cake as guests gathered round to take photographs, before finding their way to their seats for dining. The guest tables were adorned with rose gold candelabras with pink floral wreaths, to compliment those from the ceremony, hand written place cards and rose gold table numbers and cutlery from KWF.
A delicious three course meal was enjoyed along with a cup of tea or coffee before the toasts were poured and it was time for the highly anticipated speeches. David was up first and expressed how proud he is of Kate for being such a wonderful daughter, acing her career and of course being a wonderful Mum to Evie and Alice too. Rhys echoed David’s thoughts and from the grin on his face, we know that he is just so excited to finally be able to call Kate his wife ??.
Our Best Men, Rhys’ brothers, were up last and shared many funny stories about Rhys over the years including some rather unfortunate nicknames and a story about the time he took the wrap for breaking one of his Mum’s favourite China plates, in one of their many indoor football tournaments that took place over the years (sorry Kim!!).
It was time for our Bride and Groom to make their way round to the front of the top table and take their positions ready for their game of ‘Mr and Mrs’ which went down a treat with all of the guests; laughing along to each of their answers (some I think we’ll have to leave as undecided for now??).
With the formalities of the day complete and the pizza oven roaring and ready to go, the room was quickly moved around before the arrival of the evening guests.
Mr and Mrs Leeder made their way onto the dance floor for their first dance as man and wife before The Joe Ringer Band kicked off the party in style with plenty of floor filling classics!
It has been an honour and a privilege to host your special day and to meet all of your family and friends. We wish you the happiest future together as the perfect little family, with Evie and Alice too, of course. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Leeder ?? xx
