And they lived happily ever after!
We have had so much fun planning with Rachel and Phil and always knew that they’d arrive with massive grins on their faces as they just couldn’t wait to get married! A very excited Rachel arrived with her Bridesmaids to set up the barn on Friday afternoon whilst Phil and his Groomsmen enjoyed a kick-about on the lawn and all of their hard work could definitely been seen.
Mr & Mrs Storey
Yesterday we were host to the wedding of Sarah and Richard who tied the knot in front of all their friends and family inside Coronation Barn.
When boy meets girl, here’s what they say, that’s amore!!
A true Italian wedding was held here at Southwood Hall yesterday with bright blue skies, sunshine from dusk ‘til dawn, prosecco flowing and food to fill every part of the day ?? – bellissimo!
Abbie and her "Weirdo with a beardo"
On Saturday afternoon, a very excited Abbie and Dan arrived with their entourage of helpers to set up the barn with all of their decorations and what a pretty sight it was! The barn was decorated with pink pompoms and hessian bunting, white wicker hearts and a cute ‘welcome to our wedding’ sign; tables were adorned with pretty place cards, personalised mini love heart favours and chalkboard hearts displaying their table numbers.
Carol and Dale's big day with sunshine, shades and sophistication
Bright blue skies, spring sunshine and shades all around, you would be forgiven for thinking we were in early summer rather than early spring with the beautiful weather ?? What a treat for our lovely couple Carol and Dale who after just six months of planning had their wedding here with us yesterday with an intimate ceremony and wedding breakfast including their closest family and friends.
It must be love, love, love
After a very busy week of moving house (!), as well as the usual final wedding preparations, we were surprised to see a very calm and very relaxed Lisa and Iain to set up on Friday evening :) Their scheme was classic and romantic with delicate fairy lights and paper pom-poms hanging from the beams and tables were decorated with ornate Moroccan lanterns and candle holders, finished off perfectly with a few flowers just to add a touch of colour to the tables.
