New year's day wedding!
Posted on 01 January 2018
We always like to welcome in the New Year with a bang and there was no better way than celebrating the marriage of Louise and Craig!
Louise and her Bridesmaids prepared for the big day in the Cartshed Lodge as Craig and his Best Men arrived in a stylish campervan with son Josh and ‘Best Dog’ Milly in tow. Josh had been so excited for ‘his party’ for weeks and couldn’t wait to show off his super cute suit.
Guests made their way in from the cold and began to take their seats for the ceremony. After fifteen wonderful years together, it was finally time for Louise and Craig to tie the knot and they both just couldn’t wait!
Josh led the way down the aisle, holding hands with bridesmaid Poppy and his adorable ‘Don’t worry ladies, I’m still single!’ sign ??. The gorgeous Ivy, Amelia, Daisy and Amy soon followed and Roger certainly had a tear in his eye as he finally got to walk his little girl down the aisle to meet Craig.
Vows and rings were soon exchanged and Craig’s Aunty shared the beautiful poem she had written especially for our newlyweds which had nearly all of the bridal party in tears! The new Mr and Mrs Sewell were announced for the very first time and guests enjoyed a quick tipple to celebrate!
Guests braved the chill in the air and made their way out on to the terrace to gather for some fun group shots whilst enjoying a tasty selection of canapes from our Chefs and Sean Goodman’s favourite magic tricks.
Inside the barn, KWFs fairy lights hung from the beams and giant LOVE letters, with blue bulbs to match their scheme, created the perfect twinkling mood for dining. Tables were adorned with elegant candelabras, personalised thank you tags and place cards. Louise’s talented Mum had handmade a navy table cloth with sparkly silver bunting which added the perfect touch of sophistication to the top table.
Guests welcomed a warming winter menu as the sun began to set and the children were kept entertained with their personalised gift bags filled with toys and goodies – what a treat ??.
Craig was a little nervous about making his speech, but was reassured by his family and absolutely aced it! Lots of thankyous and gifts were handed out and he finished by thanking his gorgeous bride for everything and making sure she knew that she’s a wonderful mum to Josh and a perfect wife too!
Our first wedding of 2018 was filled with fun and laughter and Bill Downs joined us to kick off the night with live music and classic tunes for everyone to party the night away!
It is clear to see just how loved both Louise and Craig are by all of their friends and family. We wish you all the happiness in the world for your future together – with little Josh and Milly of course ?? xx
