Mr & Mrs Patterson!!

Posted on 17 November 2018

It may have been a chilly start to the day but by lunchtime the sun was shining brightly over Coronation Barn as guests began to arrive for Lisa and Lewis’ big day!

Lisa has been so organised throughout the planning process so it came as no surprise that she was dressed and ready to go ahead of schedule – the perfect excuse to get lots of pictures with her gorgeous Bridesmaids and family before the ceremony.

Their adorable Paige Boy, Oliver, led the way down the aisle (and just couldn’t wait much longer to see his Daddy!) followed by the beautiful Bridesmaids in their lavender gowns before it was time for Lisa’s Dad to give his little girl away to her soul mate.

After an emotional ceremony, guests braved the chill in the air and made their way out on to the terrace to enjoy a glass of fizz whilst posing for some group photographs. The children made the most of the garden games and their laughter could be heard from a mile away!

KWF were back in action and decorated the barn with their hessian bunting and twinkling fairy lights. Rustic wooden plinths adorned the tables with decorated jam jars filled with flowers and tea lights to add a romantic touch. Our Bride had been very busy making her own fudge for her guest favours and her talent friend created mini bunting place names for every one too – the perfect touch for a rustic wedding!

As guests dived into the barn, Best Man George helped everyone find their way to their seats before welcoming the new Mr and Mrs Patterson into the dining room to plenty of whoops and cheers! It was soon time for the wedding breakfast, and Chef had a delicious offering for everyone to enjoy! The double baked cheddar souffle or Cromer crab cakes with pea shoots and Colman’s mustard aioli for starter went down particularly well, and of course the sticky toffee pudding went down a treat on a winter’s evening!

It was soon time for the speeches and George had some rather entertaining photos to share with everyone which certainly had everyone laughing! Lisa’s Dad shared fond memories of her childhood and Lewis told his new wife (!) just how much she means to him (and what a great mum she is to little Oliver too).

With the formalities of the day complete, it was time for our house DJ to kick off the party with plenty of floor filling classics whilst the children helped themselves to a treat from the sweetie table to fuel all of their dance moves!

The new Mr and Mrs Patterson soon cut their stunning three tier wedding cake in front of all of their guests (great job, Auntie Dawn!) before taking to the dance floor for their first dance.

Our wood fired pizzas and fresh, hot doughnuts were the perfect treat on a chilly evening and it wasn’t long before guests were diving in (in between their trips to the Boothography Photo booth of course).

We have loved getting to know you all so well and it was an honour to host your special day. We know you have had an amazing 8 years together since meeting at University and know you’ll continue to make so many special memories together, with little Oliver too. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Patterson xx
