Mr & Mrs Luxton

Posted on 31 December 2019

Yesterday we hosted all of Chelle & Tommy’s nearest and dearest in Coronation Barn and it was a day filled with so much love and happiness.

As Chelle put together her final preparations in the Cartshed Lodge, the boys rocked up to the barn looking super dapper in their dinner jackets and bow ties.

The ceremony area was beautifully decorated with LED candles in jars to line the aisle, a hand-crafted wooden arbour back drop and a stunning long and low on the registry table. All of the bridal party kicked off an amazing start to the ceremony by dancing their way down the aisle to ‘We are family’ before it was time for our beautiful Bride herself.

With her proud Dad on her arm, she elegantly made her way down the aisle to meet her soulmate and with a massive grin beaming across his face, we think they couldn’t be any more perfect for each other!

After an emotional exchange of rings, Chelle’s Bridesmaid Jess sung a beautiful personalised rendition of ‘Hallelujah’ as they signed the register and it wasn’t long before the new Mr & Mrs Luxton were proudly announced!

Guests braved the chill, with a glass of warm cider or apple cup in their hands, for a confetti shot out on the rear terrace. It may have been a little chilly but it wasn’t certainly a beautiful sunny day! @Sean Goodman was on hand to entertain guests with magical tricks too.

Inside the barn, tables were decorated with glass hurricane lanterns surrounded by pine cones and tea lights with each guest having their own personalised place card and charity pin favour for a charity close to our couple’s hearts. Tommy had created a fab photo backdrop which was displayed next to a load of props to guests to pose with and their cake stood proudly on the cake table.

As guests took to their seats for dining, the newlyweds were welcomed into the dining room before we rounded up the carvers for our famous table carved beef rump. A trio of delicious desserts followed and certainly went down a treat with all of the guests.

Toast glasses were filled and guests settled in their seats ready for the speeches. Chelle’s Dad told everyone just how proud he is of the woman she’s become and how lucky he is to have three wonderful grandchildren too. Tommy was up next and thanked everyone for all their hard work in the build up to their big day and had lots of presents to share before declaring his love for his new wife! Dave was up last and had some extra special props to include in his speech – a 6ft cut out of Tommy in his zebra print mankini from the stag do!!! It was certainly something our guests won’t forget!!

As we turned the room around ready for the evening and our house DJ arrived to set up, guests made their way out onto the rear lawns for a quick sparkler photo. With @KWF’s festoon lights in the background too, we’re sure the photos will look absolutely stunning!

The Kadai fire pits were up and roaring to go for our sausage sizzle – the perfect addition to fuel all the moves for the party with live sets from the band and absolute classics from our DJ!

With 2020 in clear sight, the big screen was lowered and our couple had a special slideshow to countdown into the New Year – what a perfect end to the most wonderful day!! ??

We have loved hosting your wedding Chelle & Tommy and it’s been an honour to get to know you, India, Ozzy & Jude over the last 18 months. We wish you the happiest future together as the new Mr & Mrs Luxton with your perfect little family ?? xx
