Mr & Mrs Coull's fairytale romance
Posted on 24 August 2018
It was a delight and a pleasure to welcome Mr and Mrs Coull to their happily ever after at Southwood Hall yesterday after their beautiful church ceremony.
Arriving in style the newlyweds were eager to welcome their guests as they made their way to the rear terrace to await their arrival! Sarah looked beautiful in her dress – Dave is definitely one lucky man! As they greeted all their loved ones, Chef’s selection of canapes circulated for all to enjoy alongside a glass of fizz and our giant inflatable proved to be the perfect amusement for all the children (and big kids too!!).
After a big group photo, guests headed into the barn ready to enjoy the wedding breakfast! The barn looked beautiful and most certainly was a rose gold dream as Sarah had hoped! KWF provided dusky pink chair sashes and tall rose gold candelabras with the most wonderfully scented roses! The combination of candlelight and fairy lights was gorgeous too particularly through the meal. Sarah had also provided some extra touches with little ‘Fantasia’ castle favour boxes alongside names tags and table numbers in rose gold too ??
Everyone enjoyed their choice of two options per course which included prawn salad, roast chicken and chocolate brownie – they certainly went down well with plenty of clean plates and smiling faces! Guests then enjoyed a cup of tea or coffee before charging their glasses ready for the speeches.
Father of the Bride Paul had come prepared with his wedding speech folder and plenty of stories about ‘Daddy’s little girl’ Sarah which was lovely. Next up was Dave with his list of thanks to make to those that had helped the couple through their relationship and as he mentioned his beautiful wife (!) everyone could see just how smitten he was by the huge grin on his face!
With the final formalities of the day almost complete everyone grabbed a drink and kicked off their shoes ready for the evening party to commence. Sarah had even provided flip flops for all her guests to wear – such a lovely touch! We gathered everyone once more as our couple cut their cake and took to the dance floor for their first dance as man and wife before asking all their guests to join them!
Our Chef’s cooked up a treat for the evening with fresh pizzas from the outside oven alongside a selection of salads and plenty of sweet treats too! Our sweetie table and decadent chocolate buffet went down well inside the barn and our DIY sundae station had everyone piling high their toppings for the ultimate ice cream sundae ??
Our House DJ kept the tunes playing through the night as everyone celebrated our couple’s special day.
Mr and Mrs Coull, we wish you both a huge congratulations on your special day! ‘To face the future with another, who means more than any other, is to be loved!’ Best wishes for your happily ever after as husband and wife ?? xx
