Mr & Mrs Cornwall

Posted on 27 June 2019

We had the pleasure of meeting Chantelle & Emlyn back in 2017 and after nearly two years of planning, yesterday, it was finally time for them to say ‘I do’ ??

Our Groomsmen arrived in style in Silverline Limousines’ red hummer and were soon to greet guests and ask them to take their seats ready for the ceremony.

Chantelle is probably the most organised Bride we have ever met so it came as no surprise that every inch of their wedding was planned to perfection. The ceremony area was beautifully decorated with KWF’s giant sparkly rose gold urns displaying gorgeous floral arrangements, dusky pink chair sashes with floral pew ends and a stunning floral arrangement on the ceremony table – it looked like an image straight from Pinterest!

Each of Chantelle’s Bridesmaids were joined by our Ushers to make their way down the aisle ahead of our beautiful Bride herself, in her glistening gown and a massive grin on her face! The ceremony was very emotional, with two lovely poems shared with all of the guests.

With a break in the clouds, and the new Mr and Mrs Cornwall formally announced, guests grabbed a drink of their choice and made their way outside for a few photographs. Bill Downs performed a live set of music as Chef’s canapes were circulated round.

Inside the barn, tables were adorned with trumpet vases displaying floral arrangements, printed menus and laser cut rose gold place names (from the very talented Little Pea Designs), sparkling rose gold table runners, numbers and cute little favour boxes with chocolate hearts inside! The table plan was displayed on a stunning white mirror with a gorgeous floral spray too – everything matched perfectly! ??

Ian, one of Emyln’s Groomsmen, kindly offered to ask as the toastmaster for the day and it wasn’t long before he asked all of the guests to take their seats ready for the speeches. The new Mr & Mrs Cornwall were soon introduced (to a live rendition of ‘Signed, sealed delivered’) before Chantelle’s Dad kicked off the speeches!

We had many lovely speakers yesterday – Kris, Emlyn, our beautiful Bride, Maid of Honour & Best Man too. Daniel had everyone in fits of laughter with his pre-prepared video which he must have spent hours preparing! Good work Daniel ??

A choice of either fillet of beef or roasted chicken supreme were on the menu followed by a tasty trio of warm chocolate brownie, crème brulee and strawberry pavlova – delicious! ??

Our lovely newlyweds took the opportunity to head off for some photos around the grounds whilst our house DJ arrived to set up for the evening. The weather may not have been perfect, but nothing was going to dampen the spirits of our fun loving couple!

With their gorgeous wedding cake cut, Chantelle and Emlyn took to the dance floor for their first dance as man and wife. Chantelle loves to dance so followed it with a perfectly rehearsed upbeat salsa dance with her Mum – we absolutely loved it!

We have had the best time hosting your wedding and have absolutely loved getting to know you both so well over the past couple of years. We hope you have the most wonderful time in the Maldives on your honeymoon and wish you a world of happiness together. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Cornwall ?? xxx
