Yesterday, we welcomed all of Gaby and Rob’s nearest and dearest into Coronation Barn and what a wonderful day it was!

Gaby prepared for the big day in the Cartshed Lodge with her beautiful Bridesmaids and the help of Sam and Sarah to ensure they all looked picture perfect all day.

We couldn’t believe our luck when we saw the weather forecast for this weekend and guests certainly made the most of the sunshine, relaxing on the terrace ahead of the ceremony.

The Groomsmen made sure that everyone found their seats in the barn as they waited for the arrival of the bridal party. Adorable flower girl, Scarlett, led the girls down the aisle before it was finally time for very proud Father of the Bride, Mark, to walk his little girl down the aisle to meet her soulmate.

During an emotional ceremony, Gaby’s Mum, Sara, shared a beautiful reading before the rings were exchanged and vows complete. The new Mr and Mrs Hemmant were announced and Rob was finally able to kiss his beautiful Bride!
Guests made their way round to the terrace to enjoy a drink from the terrace cooler and some tasty canapes. The children made the most of the weather and enjoyed playing on our bouncy castle – the squeals of joy and laughter could be heard throughout the afternoon!

The barn was decorated with hessian and lace chair sashes, KWF’s twinkling fairy lights and giant LOVE lit letters. Each table was adorned with a willow arrangement and each guest had their own ‘Top Trump’ favour – which were certainly made the most of during the wedding breakfast, with each guest comparing their answers!

Everyone soon made their way into the barn to enjoy a tasty three course meal. Our famous table carved beef was back on the menu and we rounded up a carver from each table who had the privilege of carving for their fellow diners. A delicious trio of vanilla cheesecake, chocolate brownie and lemon meringue, raspberry and amaretti glass went down a treat alongside a cup of coffee and of course, a glass of fizz to toast the speeches.

Mark kicked off speeches with his funny, kind and caring words about his wonderful daughter and new Son-in-Law – we don’t think he could be any prouder if he tried! Rob was up next, sharing many happy stories of him and Gaby together and giving a special thank you to his beautiful daughter, Scarlett too. Deni rounded everything off with some funny stories from the stag do and a big congratulations to his best mate!

Guests spilled out on to the rear lawns to enjoy the last of the sunshine; mingling and catching up with friends and family. It was soon time for our newlyweds to cut their stunning wedding cake and take to the dance floor for their first dance as man and wife!

Their talented musician, Joe, kicked off the night of partying with some classic tunes as the chip cones and sweetie table fuelled all the moves.

We’ve had a blast with you both and wish you the happiest future together. We know you’ve made some wonderful memories together over the past five years but just know that there are many, many more to come!
