Lucky number 7!

Yesterday saw blushing bride Leann being pampered alongside her gorgeous bridesmaids in the Cartshed Lodge with Tracey Ward Hair and Love Moi makeup as she prepared to take her vows after seven years of happiness with Nick.
With bridesmaids and lovely little flower girls in tow, it was soon time for Leann to head over to the barn where her very proud dad was waiting to walk her down the aisle.
There were a few tears (most of them not Leann’s!) as the track that Leann had chosen as a surprise for Nick was played for her to make her way outside and meet him under the ceremony rotunda. During the ceremony the rings were delivered in style by the couple’s beloved pet dog, Denny, much to the delight of their guests.
After saying their ‘I do’ s Nick and Leann joined their nearest and dearest in selecting a cocktail from the Kilner bar and enjoyed an array of canapes.
Our newlyweds made use of the gardens and the pear tree swing for photographs and the Secret Garden gate was unlocked for what looked to be some stunning shots while the sun was shining – we can’t wait to see those!
Guests were invited to find their seats for the wedding breakfast and the couple had called upon a little of their Geo Caching experience and had left each guest a key with a clue to their table attached to it. The seating plan with lots of tiny keys all lined up ready to go was just adorable.
Tables were decorated by KWF with rustic wooden plinths and tea light holders on lace table runners for a romantic touch. Jam jars of flowers from Sam Powell added a touch of colour and were placed on the plinths alongside photographs of the couple’s pets as table names. Meringue kisses swirled with pink and place cards of little heart chalk boards sat at each place setting and added a personal touch.
With guests in their seats, the new Mr and Mrs Clarke were welcomed in to the room with rapturous applause before enjoying their wedding breakfast.
With dessert polished off and a glass of something bubbly in hand, father of the bride took to the microphone to share a few words and wish the couple well before the best man shared a few details of the stag do (thankfully not too many!) and the groom spoke from the heart about his incredible new wife.
Following the speeches, guests admired photographs of the wedding days of some of the important couples in Nick and Leann’s lives as part of a lovely display on an old step ladder, before watching them cut the cake.
A very romantic first dance between a couple who looked so in love and at ease with each other left not a dry eye in the house. Other couples soon joined Mr and Mrs Clarke on the dance floor pausing only to re-fuel with pizza fresh from the wood burning stove.
You certainly seem to have found the keys to each other’s hearts Nick and Leann. We wish you every happiness together.
