Love is in the air for Emily and Tom

Posted on 19 October 2018

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting Emily and Tom’s big day in Coronation Barn. It may have been a cloudy morning but the sun broke through just in time for the ceremony and it was gloriously warm all afternoon!

As Emily made her final preparations in the Cartshed Lodge, Tom and his Groomsmen made their way into the barn (looking very dapper, we must say!) to greet all of their guests on their arrival.

KWF had been busy styling the ceremony area with their giant wicker heart and fairy lights, rustic hessian and lace chair sashes and a gorgeous long and low floral arrangement on the registry table. The fairy lights twinkled away as guests found their way to their seats as it was time for Tom to marry his soulmate!

As the music began to play, it was finally time for the Bridal party to make their way down the aisle. Emily’s gorgeous Bridesmaids led the way in their gorgeous blue gowns before it was time for the adorable page boys and flower girl to steal the show! They had been practising their walk (and cheesy grins!) for days and certainly impressed guests with their cute signs including Archie’s ‘Daddy, here comes Mummy’ plaque! Steven looked immensely proud to walk his little girl down the aisle and quite rightly so - Emily looked absolutely stunning in her detailed wedding dress!

With the legal formalities complete and the sunshine beaming, guests made their way round to the terrace to grab a drink from the terrace cooler and listen to some acoustic tunes from Bill Downs. The children enjoyed playing out on the lawns, whilst our ushers gathered guests for plenty of group photos.

It was soon time to make our way into the barn for dining. Carvers were rounded up from each table and posed for plenty of photos before carving the beef joints for their tables. We had some very keen carvers in the room who couldn’t wait to get stuck in! The children soon decided that it was their turn to play dress up and donned their Chef’s hats whilst they enjoyed their desserts.

Our couple were quickly whisked outside to get those all-important sunset shots before guests settled with a glass of bubbly for the speeches. Many happy memories were shared and it’s so clear to see that this couple are dearly loved by all of their friends and family!

With the stunning three tier wedding cake cut, our house DJ arrived ready for the evening along with all of the evening guests who were all ready to kick off a night of partying!!

Our newlyweds took to the dancefloor for their first dance and were soon joined by all of their nearest and dearest, including their adorable son Archie!

It may have been a chilly evening but guests made sure they made their way outside to take a few snaps in the photo booth and grab a bite to eat from Chef’s potato station – the perfect warming choice on an October evening!

We have loved getting to know you all whilst planning your wedding and it has been a privilege to host your special day. We know that you have already had eight amazing years together and know that you will continue to make many memories together, with little Archie too ??. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Reynolds xxx
