Kasie and Jonny make each other sparkle

Posted on 16 June 2018

Kasie and Jonny have been enthusiastic about the details of planning their wedding since we first met them, and my goodness, did it pay off!!

The beautiful rotunda ceremony was decorated by KWF in Kasie and Jonny’s colour scheme of pale pink and white. There were pom poms, bunting, flowers and more and it all came together to stunning effect.

Kasie and Jonny were lucky enough to have a family friend as their celebrant which was a lovely personal touch alongside readings and a (more coincidental) fly by from a Lancaster airplane on it’s way to the Yarmouth Air show – all very impressive!

Page Boys Harley, Nate and Blake were first down the aisle with flower girls Nyla and Indie and they took their role incredibly seriously. They were followed by Kasie’s bridesmaids before Kasie’s dad proudly escorted his beautiful daughter towards her groom. Kasie wore a fitted lace gown with a stunning full-length veil that drifted in the breeze and sparkled in the sunlight.

Once married, Mr and Mrs Balchin made their way to the terrace cooler for a celebratory drink before grouping with friends and family for photographs with Daniel Lightening and Mike Savory. Guests were offered canapes including the pancake stack with crisp smoked bacon and maple syrup and the chicken, slow roast tomato and basil lollipop with pesto – delicious!

The barn was decorated just as beautifully as the rotunda with pom poms, fairy lights and jars of flowers on the tables. Chair sashes added a pop of colour that brought the whole scheme together nicely but most impressive of all were Kasie’s homemade touches. Each guest was treated to a hand-crafted clay heart with their name imprinted on it to take home. Kasie had also personalised gift boxes for the children, a card box and guest book amongst other things…she has obviously been a very busy lady.

With a little help from Jonny’s father, guests were invited to take their seats for the speeches followed by the wedding breakfast. Kasie and Jonny had sampled their menu on a prior occasion and found the lemon posset particularly memorable so we are glad that it didn’t disappoint yesterday guys.

Following coffee guests spilled back out onto the terrace to enjoy some live music in the sunshine before the newly-weds cut their impressive cake courtesy of Vanilla Cake Design.

There was a welcome basket of flip flops on the dance floor for the ladies to kick off their heels and join the new Mr and Mrs after their romantic first dance. The house DJ kept the tunes coming as guests danced, ate pizza and enjoyed the s’mores bar.

Jonny had mentioned once or twice his particular fondness for fairy lights so stylists KWF went crazy with fairy lights for this couple and decorated parts of the gardens that we never knew could be decorated with fairy lights for some stunning photograph opportunities (no pressure Daniel Lightening ??). What a magical way to end the evening.

Guys we hope that you continue to make each other sparkle! Wishing you every happiness for the future x x
