Jodie and Thomas' woodland wonderland
Posted on 27 February 2016
Elliott arrived ahead of mum and dad yesterday in the cutest outfit ever! Guests mingled with drinks in the beautiful winter sunshine as they awaited the new Mr and Mrs Crabb from Church.
Our bride arrived looking stunning in her lovely dress with lace and diamante detailing and beautiful veil and her groom was equally as dapper (although slightly upstaged by gorgeous Elliott!)
As guests were invited into the barn to take their seats for the wedding breakfast, Jodie and Thomas’s woodland vision really came to life. KWF stylists provided a back drop of hessian table runners and willow green napkins on oak tables and centre pieces of natural wood slices, lanterns and leafy decorations complete with cute tiny ladybirds brought the scheme together.
Guests enjoyed a two course wedding breakfast including the delicious Bootiful Norfolk turkey steak with Coleman’s wholegrain mustard sauce before turning their attention to the tasks at hand…
Among the table decorations were an eye spy photography game and a rather interesting photograph of the new Mr and Mrs Crabb to inspire a caption quiz (the mind boggles! :)). With this hilarious snap and some great photos scrolling on the big screen we can’t wait to see the photos from this fun-loving couple’s big day!
Guests were also given a lovely little wooden heart and asked to leave it with a message for the happy couple on the wishing tree which stood guarded by two cute little woodland critters – we weren’t sure which one was Jodie and which was Tom :)
After some heartfelt words and thank yous during the speeches it was time for the newlyweds to cut their wedding cake which was served up alongside a classic Southwood combination of sweetie table and s’mores bar – who said
Jodie has a sweet tooth?!
With their first dance as husband and wife under their belts, courtesy of singer Laurence Brooks, our bride and groom welcomed their guests to the dance floor and there were bacon rolls and a sign with a full list of instructions to keep the troops boogying to the house DJ (think he had mixed feelings about the instruction to throw underwear at him!).
Jodie, Tom and Elliott make the perfect little family and it was our pleasure to be part of their big day. Wishing you every happiness for the future x x
