Hottest day of the year for Ali & Rich (in February!!)

Posted on 23 February 2019

Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting Ali and Rich’s big day in Coronation Barn and wow oh wow – what a day it was! With the sun beaming down and not a cloud in the sky guests relished the opportunity to make the most of the unseasonal weather and head out onto the terrace as they arrived and enjoy the hottest day of the year so far!

The barn had been elegantly decorated with ivory satin sashes on each of the chairs, twinkly fairy lights hung from the beams and two beautifully seasonal floral arrangements all from the brilliant KWF. As guests began to take their seats and Ali arrived in the stunning bridal car from Silverline that her sister had arranged as a surprise all of the excitement suddenly hit Rich but after a quick pep talk with the boys and his little son Jack in tow, it was finally time for our lovely Groom to see his Bride!

As Ali and Rich have already been together for 9 years and have two beautiful children together, they decided to walk down the aisle as a family to the rather fitting ‘here comes the sun’ by The Beatles. With Ali’s two beautiful sisters in tow too, the ceremony was simply beautiful (and rather emotional too! ??)

With the new Mr and Mrs Jarvis (finally!) announced, guests made their way back out to the terrace to soak up the sun and enjoy a glass of fizz or a bottle of bud and some of chef’s tasty canapes. Our newlyweds had arranged some fantastic live music to entertain their guests whilst they were whisked away for some photos around the grounds – guests were seen bopping around the barn and having a little boogie and sing song; what a perfect afternoon!

Inside the barn, tables were decorated with mirror plates, candles, tea lights and floral clusters surrounded by twinkling fairy lights and pink and gold place cards to help complement the scheme.

Our helpful ushers helped all of the guests find their way to their seats ready for the wedding breakfast. It wasn’t long until the delicious three course dinner was devoured, hot drinks enjoyed and the toast drinks poured ready for the speeches. Rich was up first and thanked all of his groomsmen, parents and their beautiful children Verity and Jack for being so well behaved all day before raising a toast to his beautiful new WIFE (!). Al was up next and had everyone in fits of laughter with his funny stories from when they were growing up and from the stag do too.

Ali and Rich soon made their way over to cut their simply stunning 4 tier wedding cake decorated with navy ribbons and a cute floral topper from KWF before the band and photo booth set up ready for a night of partying!

The JRB kicked off the night in style by performing a live rendition of the first dance before inviting guests to join them on the dance floor. Our wood fired pizzas and new salad cart fuelled all of the moves and it was clear to see that everyone was having an amazing time partying away with our newlyweds.

We have loved every second of getting to know you both and wish you the happiest future together, with little Verity and Jack too of course. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Jarvis!! Xx
