Glorious Autumnal wedding

Posted on 13 October 2018

By her own proud admission, Shaula was never going to be a ‘traditional’ bride and we are so glad! Joe and Shaula always had clear ideas on several elements of their planning and we have loved working with them to pull all of their biggest wishes for their day together.

Celebrations were underway in the Cartshed Lodge even the night before the wedding as Shaula relaxed wither Bridesmaids in the hot tub before making her way over to the Garden Folly for a peaceful night’s rest in the princess tower.

It was back to the Cartshed Lodge again on the morning of the big day and all seemed very calm as preparations began. Shaula had chosen the most stunning gown painted with beautiful, colourful flowers which suited her perfectly. Bridesmaids complemented her in full length soft green tones and little Aria stole the show in her ivory princess dress and flower crown. A fabulous bridal party!

Having waited so long for this day, Shaula was keen to make her way down the aisle towards a slightly nervous looking Joe. A personal and relaxed ceremony was concluded with the new Mr and Mrs Chamberlain making their way back down the aisle to Etta James’ At Last, a nod to finally putting the rubber stamp on their enduring and solid relationship.

Someone special was really looking down on this couple as the sun shone brilliantly all day and it was back out into the sunshine to celebrate with drinks and canapes including breaded brie wedges with a grape chutney – yum!
With the dining tables in place for the wedding breakfast, the décor really came into its own with gorgeous centrepieces (giving a subtle nod to Shaula’s love of Disney!) perfectly complemented with golden cutlery and twinkling fairy lights from stylists KWF as the perfect finishing touches.

Our newlyweds were welcomed into the room with enthusiastic applause and cheers from their nearest and dearest before taking their seats at the Top table to be served their three-course wedding breakfast. An extended choice menu included a choice of three delectable desserts: Lemon meringue, amaretti and raspberry glass; blackberry and apple gingerbread crumble; or shortbread, vanilla cheesecake cream, Norfolk wild strawberry ice cream and poached strawberries – what a decision to be faced with!

With a glass of Moet and Chandon in hand Father of the Bride Patrick took to the microphone to begin the speeches. Best Man (and Dad) Stephen spoke next and both Dad’s shared just the right number of compromising anecdotes! Joe couldn’t resist saying a few words about his fabulous new wife but not one to give up the last word, it was Shaula herself who broke with tradition to address the room and voice her thanks.

Following the speeches there was time for a few more photographs including one of Shaula in her personalised ‘Mrs Chamberlain’ leather jacket alongside little Aria in her own little leather jacket – too cute!!

As more of Joe and Shaula’s friends and family joined them in the evening, there was plenty more to come in this day of celebration. Our couple posed for photographs while cutting their cake before Shaula invited her father to dance ahead of her first dance with her new husband.

A barbecue of best beef burgers and Pickering’s sausages alongside homemade relishes and sauces kept guests well fuelled while the awesome Joe Ringer Band then kicked the party off!

Shaula, Joe and little Aria, it has been such a pleasure to work alongside you to help you create such a beautiful day. We wish you all the best as you continue to enjoy being such a perfect little family! X x
