Giselle & Laura

Posted on 18 May 2019

After 8 years together, yesterday it was finally time for Giselle and Laura to tie the knot and become the new Mrs and Mrs Jenkins in front of all of their nearest and dearest.

The forecast for the day had been changing by the minute throughout the week but as the clouds parted yesterday afternoon and the sun shined through, Giselle and Laura were able to exchange vows under the Garden Rotunda, just as they had always dreamed of ??.

Laura was first to make her way down the aisle, with her proud Dad on her arm, followed by our three beautiful bridesmaids in their floor length pale blue gowns. As Laura approached the top of the aisle she managed to have a quick peek over her shoulder to see Giselle and her Dad making their way down towards her. With the music and the overwhelming emotion amongst guests, we don’t think there was a dry eye in the house!

After our newlyweds had been legally announced, guests made their way over to grab a drink from the terrace cooler and a bite to eat from our static snack ladders.

Our giant inflatable assault course made it’s first appearance of 2019 and certainly kept the children entertained whilst our Brides’ posed for photographs with all of their guests.

Inside the barn was beautifully decorated with twinkly fairy lights and hessian bunting hung from the beams as well as KWF’s giant LOVE lit letters providing the perfect backdrop to the dining room. Hessian and lace table runners and wooden plinths displaying jam jars adorned all of the guest tables adding the perfect rustic touch to our lovely couples’ scheme. Each guest had their own little brooch as a favour for a charity very close to their hearts which were all worn with pride throughout the day ??.

The three-course wedding breakfast our Brides’ had chosen certainly went down a treat with the guests – especially the rosemary roasted pork tenderloin, chorizo potato croquette, cauliflower puree and cider cream sauce for main. Simply delicious ??

After glasses of Prosecco were poured, it was soon time for the highly anticipated speeches. Neil, Tim, Doug & Laura all shared their heartfelt speeches with guests but Giselle’s Mum Jo had something a little different in store. She’d only gone and written her own rap to ‘The Fresh Prince of Belle Air’’s theme tune – it went down a storm!!

Guests soon made the most of the mild evening and headed out to the terrace for some more photographs (and another competitive go on the assault course ??).

After a few photographs of the cutting of the cake, the new Mrs and Mrs Jenkins made their way to the dance floor for their first dance before our house DJ kicked off the night with plenty of party classics!!

We have absolutely loved getting to know you both and it’s been an absolute honour to host all of your friends and family on your special day. We know you already have such special memories to treasure and wish you both continued happiness in your future together ?? xx
