Beth & Chris' newest adventure

Posted on 22 February 2019

Since meeting at college our couple have had their fair share of adventures and yesterday, they embarked on their next one as Beth and Chris became Mr & Mrs Swallow!

As guests took their seats ready for the ceremony, our Bride and her entourage gathered in the Cartshed Lodge for a final photo or two! It has to be said that Beth had one of the cutest bridal parties around with gorgeous flower girls Lacey and Harper and page boys Louie and Isaya stealing the show! Everyone waited patiently out in the sunshine for the music to begin before making their way down the aisle. Our emotional Bride looked beautiful in her dress as, arm in arm with her Dad, she made her grand entrance ?? .

Guests were a little worried during the ceremony as at one point it appeared best man Matthew had lost the rings! Little did they know it was all an act staged by our couple as Matthew disappeared out the barn to retrieve the rings which were safely with our couple’s dog Luna who came bounding into the barn with much excitement!

We celebrated the marriage of Chris and Beth with a glass of fizz on the front steps and guests made their way round to the terrace to bask in the glorious sunshine whilst our couple had a few photos with Luna under the supervision of Pet Pixie!

Our lovely couple decided upon a travel theme for their wedding due to their passion and love of seeing the world! They decorated the barn wonderfully with table names from across the world including Australia, Borneo and Thailand as well as flags and photos on each table of the couple in each country. We loved how they tied it all together with mini suitcase favour boxes, map of the world table plan and even a globe for guests to sign. Chris’ sister Nicole had also made little paper flowers and bottles made from maps and Beth’s Dad had helped her make sign posts showing exactly how far we were from each country – perfect!

KWF completed the tables with a splash of colour thanks to their gorgeous seasonal centrepieces and lilac chair sashes! As always their fairy lights and festoons added a warm glow to not only the day time but also into the evening!

A delicious three course meal was soon served for all to enjoy as they tucked into their choice of starter, main and dessert before Beth’s Dad, Chris and his best man took to the microphone for a trio of speeches! It was lovely to hear stories from those closest to the couple and best man Matthew even treated us to some photos of his older brother and new sister in law!

With the lights dimmed and the tables moved our house DJ took to the decks to help everyone celebrate Mr & Mrs Swallow’s special day! Chef’s were also busy under the Barbeque Lodge preparing hog roast rolls and hot, fresh doughnuts which were a big hit with our couple’s guests!

Congratulations Beth and Chris on your special day! It has been a pleasure to get to know you both and be a part of your wedding celebrations! We wish you all the best as you start your new adventure as husband and wife – we hope you enjoy exploring Mexico! x
