Aimee and Jamie

We have loved every second of getting to know Aimee & Jamie and their family & on Saturday it was finally time for their big day!

Guests were greeted with a warm glass of mulled wine on arrival from Beccles Church as the sounds of Kavolini filled the barn with festive cheer! Our giant Christmas trees adorned the stage with KWF’s fairy lights hung from the beams and their giant wicker hearts twinkling in the glass panels – it was a picture-perfect winter wedding!

Chef had prepared some festive treats for his static canape ladders – pigs in blankets, salmon blinis, mini stolen bites and mince pies which guests soon dived into! Our lovely newlyweds mingled with their guests and posed for plenty of photographs – Jamie looked so dapper in his black dinner jacket & bow tie and Aimee a vision of beauty in her fitted, low back silk gown with beaded detailing.

Jamie’s sister Keely asked guests to take their seats and they admired the beautiful décor as they did – candelabras and tea lights provided romantic candle light and place settings were personalised with name tags, scratch card favours and eucalyptus detail.

Our table shared mezze boards proved a popular choice of starter once again with guests grazing on a selection of Mediterranean nibbles ahead of our famous table carved Broadland beef for main! We had a particularly enthusiastic bunch of carvers join us in the kitchen and they all took their role very seriously! Our artisan lemon meringue roulade soon followed and was the perfect refreshing dessert.

With coffees enjoyed and toast glasses full, it was time for the highly anticipated speeches. We had four lovely speakers – all sharing their happy memories about Aimee and Jamie including lots from Aimee’s student nursing days (Katie had many more to share but they were only to be told in exchange for a drink at the bar!!).

As the evening guests joined us, Chef displayed a delicious cheese tower for guests to devour – Aimee & Jamie absolutely LOVE cheese so it was the perfect choice for their evening reception!

After the new Mr & Mrs Austin cut their wedding cake, which was beautifully displayed within a foliage hoop, they took to the dance floor for their first dance as man and wife. The fabulous @JRB were back with us and were certainly ready for a night of partying with plenty of classic party hits!

We wish you both the world of happiness together with Ethan, Finn & little Liberty too. We know you have already made so many incredible memories together but now you can continue to do so as husband and wife! Congratulations again, Mr & Mrs Austin xxx
